Bible Center was established in the fall of 1945 by our founding pastor the late A.D. VanHoose, (affectionately known as Brother Van.) Originally meeting at a house on Broad Street, the congregation officially organized in 1947. 81 years later, Bible Center continues it’s anointed pentecostal legacy, as a thriving testimony of God’s faithfulness, declaring the message that Jesus saves, heals, and delivers from sin, as an Independent Pentecostal Church!

Our church family now continues to impact our community and world with a passion to continue growing and impacting lives, by teaching & preaching God’s Word, while using the tools of current technology and the arts to effectively communicate the good news of Jesus Christ. We’re all about growing spiritually, through teaching, relationships, and mentoring! Every week we preach the gospel from God’s Word, and watch as His power and love transforms lives into strong and effective disciples of Jesus! He can do the same for you! 

Every ministry at Bible Center, focuses on missions, outreach, evangelism, and connecting the lost, lonely, and hurting to Jesus Christ. Teaching and training them to follow Him, grow in their relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ, and serving to build The Kingdom Of God, thus,  fulfilling the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20!
